more prep procrastination

Good thing i've BEEN to India before. Hopefully that helps the fact that I am not doing a whole lot to get ready for this trip at this time.
Today i just went and bought an India guidebook. Lonely Planet of course. Lucky day, it was on sale %20 off!
but i still have to get my hep a/b shots. Mom is already innoculated for everything.
We both still need to get our passport fotos taken for our Indian visas (which we can't send away for until 2 weeks before departure). Let's see, what else..... i guess all that is left is bookings, hotels, busses, pick ups, all that jazz.
So really, there is not a terrrible amount to do. I just FEEL like there should be more. way more.
oh well, there just isn't. so i guess i'm on top of the game for the most part. yay!
just enjoying the summer. Went to the lake today with friends. we paddled and floated across paul lake to the other side at the bottom of the big rock bluff. super beautiful. then the wind picked up and we had a helluva time getting back across the lake with the whitecaps and wind blowing us down the lake and all.
Finally we got a drag from some wakeboarders who felt sorry for us and towed us across. Thank you very much. if it wasn't for them, we might have had to hitch hike around the lake back to our cars. super fun though. nice day.
