new york

oh god,! its new york!!!

i can't believe i'm here.

its larger than life.

bigger than t.v. or movies.

new york is STEAMY! hot and humid.

it truly is the city that doesn't sleep.

i am impressed by new york. it is exactly like in the movies or t.v. but LARGER than life.

i bought a hop on hop off tour bus pass for the day to get around fast and easy and see as much as i can in one day. its probably the most touristy thing i've ever done in my life.

the hostel is good.

the trip here was constant glitches.

from the bus out of kamloops breaking down, we had to turn around and go back to kamloops, 3 hours delayed.

flight out of vancouver was one hour delayed and the flight out of dallas to new york was 4 hours delayed!!! put my into new york at 1am . one lucky stroke: i hooked up with an aussie couple who shared a 40 dollar taxi to manhattan with me. phew!

but when i got to the hostel, they only had my booking for the second night, not the first night.

turned out well though because she put me in a 2 bed room all by myself. for the same price.

just rolling with the punches.

new yorkers are tremendously friendly so far,

times square is where i am staying.

amazing!!

gottta go see stuff.
